Green Economy Burkina Faso

The objective of the project “Green Economy Burkina Faso” is to develop a national strategy for a green economy in Burkina Faso. In order to achieve this goal, the dynamic simulation model Threshold 21 (T21) is used for modelling and calculating costs of different strategies. This project is lead by Millennium Institute. Birgit Kopainsky from Flury&Giuliani GmbH contributes to the project through organising and facilitating capacity building workshops and trainings for national stakeholders in using, calibrating and modifying the T21 model.

Analyse & Perspektiven für die Landwirtschaft im Kanton Nidwalden

Mit Blick auf die sich in Zukunft abzeichnenden Umfeldveränderungen der Landwirtschaft stellt sich die Frage nach der zukünftigen Entwicklung und Ausrichtung der Landwirtschaft und daraus abgeleitet nach der Ausgestaltung der kantonalen Förderinstrumente. Dies insbesondere auch mit Blick auf die anstehende Revision des kantonalen Landwirtschaftsgesetzes. Das Forum Landwirtschaft Nidwalden hat die Flury&Giuliani GmbH beauftragt, einen Bericht zur ökonomischen, ökologischen und sozialen Entwicklung und heutigen Situation der Nidwaldner Landwirtschaft zu erarbeiten. Aufbauend auf dieser Analyse soll der Bericht mögliche Entwicklungspfade für die Landwirtschaft im Kanton Nidwalden aufzeigen und Handlungsoptionen für die kantonale Landwirtschaftspolitik erörtern.
